Abstract

Throughout my life I have suffered with intermittent cramping abdominal pain, usually after a "dietary indiscretion.". As I reached my 50s, gastroesophageal reflux emerged, and I tried my best not to eat right before bedtime. Frustrated after over-the-counter acid reducers failed to reduce my symptoms, I consulted a gastroenterologist. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
