Volume VIII
Excerpt: Letter from the Editors-in-Chief
This volume aptly and wonderfully explores the different lenses through which we can view medicine. Through firsthand experiences as patients in the current healthcare backdrop to interpretations of their expe-riences as medical students grappling with the grays of medicine, the authors reveal different outlooks of the journey we take as medical students working towards the greater good. We hope that each one of these pieces inspires you to take two steps back from your daily routine to look at life – and medicine – from a different perspective.
