Abstract
Researchers can support open access and build their own scholarly reputation at the same time through the ORCID iD system. In honor of Open Access Week, Rhonda Altonen, Director of Library Services for TCOM/TCOP in Harlem, talks about ORCID ID and its benefits for researchers. ORCID is open-source, non-proprietary, and community-based. ORCID ID plays a vital role in establishing the attribution chain.
