Abstract
Anatomy and Physiology 2e is designed to provide a robust introduction to human anatomy and physiology. The book is organized by body systems and includes student support features. The OpenStax K12 approach includes illustrations and photographs that are representative of diverse population, as well as current data and inclusive terminology as it pertains to reproduction, genetics, sex, and gender. The web-based format also features links to surgical videos, histology, and interactive diagrams.
