Abstract
Since the invention of the personal computer over 30 years ago the education establishment has tried to use this and other related technology as a tool for education. While great strides have been made, there are still barriers to the effective integration of these technologies into the elementary classroom today. This paper seeks to research these barriers and discover solutions to this problem. This will then lead to the creation of a website/wiki to help overcome these barriers to using computers and technology in the classroom. The field project will be directed toward use at Cooper Elementary School in Vacaville, California.
