Abstract
This single case study provides insight on the acquisition of grade appropriate high frequency words using a low tech visual support system for beginning readers. This intervention used a qualitative method in examining identification, spelling, and reading. student was identified by the teacher as having interest in reading with writing and expressive language difficulties. Overall, this student increased site word acquisition through this intervention along with writing and expressive language usage.
