Abstract

Physical education is not the same as it was a few decades ago. Now, students have unit study guides, take written tests, use the computer lab, and have personal portfolios. With teachers having to follow the national standards, the use of technology in physical education has greatly increased in the past few years. Physical education teachers are incorporating various uses of technology into their lesson and unit plans. By using Internet logs (blogs) students are able to log down their personal goals and statistics on the Internet. Blogging is a neater way to store students' personal portfolios. No need to store those 200 spiral notebooks in the tiny office. Blogging, not writing just makes sense for the 21st century routines.
