Abstract
Federal Law mandates all students with disabilities to have access in general education curriculum. The IDEA 2004 extended this law not only for grade school and high school level but also for postsecondary education in preparation for adult living. The National Alliance for Secondary Education and Transition created a National Standards and Quality Indicators Toolkit to help school systems identify what postsecondary education students need in order to achieve successful participation in their respective local communities in five main areas. This project addresses the need of these students in one focus area, Schooling. A survey was conducted to investigate if Contra Costa County Office of Education CBI classes are aligned to NASET National Standards and Quality Indicators: transition toolkit for system improvement.
